FAQ

What is Microneedling? +

Microneedling s a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small pricks cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called as collagen induction therapy.

Will Dermaplanning cause my hair to grow back thicker? +

No. Dermaplaning does not interfere with the follicular structure of the hair, thus having no effect on hair growth whatsoever.
Unlike terminal hair (think eyebrows), vellus hair has no appearance of a blunt end when shaved.

What is Dermaplanning? +

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that promotes radiant, glowing skin by removing unwanted dead skin cells and vellus facial hair.
Dermaplaning is a maximum exfoliation method where a sterile blade is stroked along the skin at a 45 degree angle, removing the uppermost layer of dead skin cells and revealing a smoother, brighter complexion.

Can I see immediate results after one session? +

Our clients have benefitted from immediate and visible results after one session of our facial treatments.
However, the results will wear off eventually if you do not maintain your skin with proper skincare regime and regular facial visits.
Depending on your skin concern and skin type it is highly recommended to go for a facial at least once a month.

What can I expect at my facial appointment? +

Then we will evaluate your skin using a magnify lamp, ask you about your goals for your skin, and make a recommendation for skincare products and treatments to help you reach those goals.

What should I do to prepare for my facial? +

Since my facials are designed to work on your skin from the décolleté up, you may want to plan on removing your makeup or pulling long hair back, although a head wrap will be used to protect your hair and a thorough cleanse will be done at the beginning of the facial.

Do your facials include deep cleansing of the skin? +

In all our facial treatments we provide thorough extraction treatments to treat clogged pores.

How often should a facial treatment be done? +

We recommend regular facial treatments every 3-4 weeks to keep your skin clear and glowing.
However, different skin type requires different frequency of visits, our therapists will assess your skin and give you a suitable advice.
