Treatment Care
Pre-Treatment Care:
- Stop using retinoids, acids, and exfoliants 7 days before the treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning treatments for 2 weeks prior to the session.
- Refrain from injectables, chemical peels, and other skin services for 2-4 weeks before treatment.
Post-Treatment Care:
- Avoid touching your face, applying SPF or makeup for 24 hours, and use a fresh pillowcase on the first night after treatment.
- After 24 hours, start cleansing with a gentle cleanser, followed by a moisturizer twice daily, and add SPF in the morning.
- Refrain from using retinols, retinoids, acids, and or exfoliants for the first week following treatment.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling s a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small pricks cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called as collagen induction therapy.
Can I see immediate results after one session?
Our clients have benefitted from immediate and visible results after one session of our facial treatments.However, the results will wear off eventually if you do not maintain your skin with proper skincare regime and regular facial visits. Depending on your skin concern and skin type it is highly recommended to go for a facial at least once a month.
What can I expect at my facial appointment?
Plan to arrive to your first appointment about 5-10 minutes early. You will need to fill out consultation form.Then we will evaluate your skin using a magnify lamp, ask you about your goals for your skin, and make a recommendation for skincare products and treatments to help you reach those goals.
What should I do to prepare for my facial?
Since my facials are designed to work on your skin from the décolleté up, you may want to plan on removing your makeup or pulling long hair back, although a head wrap will be used to protect your hair and a thorough cleanse will be done at the beginning of the facial.
